2009 is looking great for the Australian Opal gem stone industry, as Australia is a Asian country and as Asia growth is not expected to slow down anywhere near the way North America and Europe etc, Japan is the only country in the Australian region that is predicted that there grow will also slow too. The Australian National gemstone Opal is increasingly sought after around the world and as countries in Asia like China is increasingly purchasing Opals, black Opals, boulder Opal from the Australian mining producers the industry has a bright future and of course in the future when North America and Europe Japan etc economy improves imports will only increase of this gemstone. Countries like India absolutely adore Gold and gemstones China also loves their precious metals and gemstones, between these two countries Australia has no problems exporting materials in these hard times that a predicted around the world in 2009 as these two countries alone nearly make up half the worlds population.
