Today’s information is about the gemstone from Australia Opal where it is said 95% of the world supply is mined through out the 2 eastern States, from in the North West, the Central West and also the South West of Queensland which is the northern state, large amount of semiprecious or low grade boulder Opal which is usually found in very thin veins found throughout red or brown colour ironstone .  The most rarest of all Opal is the black Opal found around the township lightning Ridge which is the capital of the black Opal industry of the world,  this rare gemstone that is said to be 2 thousand times rarer than diamonds in the State of New South Wales just under the Queensland border in the far north west of the state.  This is the most exotic and expensive of all the Australian Opals, luckily there is a black Opal to the fit everybody’s budget, from low grade inexpensive black Opal too $20,000.oo-$30,000.oo ^ for the rare gem Harlequin multicolour cabochon predominantly red colour and of cause perfect clarity with out any impurities as you will never see two of the same gem quality black Opal any where in the world.  There is a third region which is not on the eastern side of the country unlike Queensland and New South Wales.
